What is presented?
The world around us is made up of the tiny building blocks of nature, atoms and molecules - comparable to the different pieces in a Lego model. But unlike Lego bricks, atoms and molecules are not so easy to touch and move, let alone look at. In his lecture, Dr. Taner Esat (PGI-3) will show you how you can immerse yourself in the world of atoms using a special microscope. Not only can atoms and molecules be imaged, they can also be put together like Lego bricks to form new structures and ‘devices’.
The lecture will be held in German.
