Brief description of the programme
Within the framework of the Technologies of the Future scholarship program, the Office for science and technologie (SST) and the Office for cooperation and cultural action (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Germany jointly support the mobility of young researchers affiliated with a university or research institution based in Germany. Students enrolled in a research master's degree are also eligible.
The program is particularly focused on research areas related, among others, to the ecological, energy, and digital transitions.
The mobility scholarships provide an opportunity to undertake a research stay of one to three months at a university or research institute in France, with stays starting between September 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
Beneficiaries of the program will receive the following lump-sum amounts:
• €2,100 per month for postdoctoral fellows
• €1,770 per month for doctoral students
• €1,200 per month for research-oriented master's students
As part of the "Green Embassy" program, beneficiaries who use environmentally friendly means of transportation to travel to France will be eligible for a flat-rate travel allowance of €250 for young researchers and €410 for master's students.
Applications must be submitted until June 4, 2025, via an online form. For more information, please contact info.berlin@campusfrance.org (master’s level) or attache-science.berlin-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr (doctoral or postdoctoral level).
