Making STEM Subjects Fun With Experiments

Jülich, 28 August 2014 – Encouraging school students’ interest in STEM subjects (i.e. science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), especially in biology – this is the goal of the "School Meets Science" project. Together with teachers, the JuLab Schools Laboratory at Forschungszentrum Jülich has developed a concept for teaching biology that places a strong emphasis on experimentation. During the coming school year (2014/2015), a total of four schools in the Düren district will participate in the project.
