Eight research studies by

IGG--Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation

scientists are referenced in the IPCC’s Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC), which was approved on September 25, 2019. The SROCC assesses the latest scientific knowledge about the physical science basis and impacts of climate change on ocean, coastal, polar and mountain ecosystems, and the human communities that depend on them. It evaluates their vulnerabilities and adaptation capacities, and presents options for achieving climate-resilient development pathways. It references nearly 7,000 scientific publications.
