OpenSuperQ: Joint Initiative for European Quantum Computer

Jülich, 13 October 2021 – Over the last few years, quantum computing has gone from a mere concept in basic research to a feasible cloud quantum computer that could influence everyday life in numerous ways. Scientists in the European research project OpenSuperQ are building a quantum computer that far exceeds the performance of today’s conventional computers in certain tasks by foregoing conventional parallel computing for quantum computing.
