Jülich, 7. April 2014 - NRW Science Minister Svenja Schulze today visited the stand of Forschungszentrum Jülich at the start of the Hannover Messe. Among other things, she learned about Jülich's research and development work on a novel electrolysis process.

So-called PEM electrolysers, on which scientists at the Institute for Energy and Climate Research (IEK-3) are currently working, should make it possible in the future to produce the climate-friendly energy carrier hydrogen highly efficiently from wind and solar power.
