Saturated hydraulic conductivity

The saturated hydraulic conductivity is measured with a permeameter using the constant head or falling head method. Water is forced to flow through the soil sample either at a constant or changing gradient. The saturated hydraulic conductivity is calculated using appropriate solutions based on Darcy's law.
