Dr. Christian Kuppe

I apply mathematical modeling to discover novel traits in efficient plants. In an interdisciplinary environment at the Institute of Bio- and Geoscience (IBG-2) at Forschungszentrum Jülich, plant science and biology increasingly depends on mathematical modeling. This is known to be challenging with its heterogeneous nature of problems and interacting non-linear coupled processes.
