SWT Project Event - Dual Students from our Team Software Development participated

The second year dual students from our Software Development Team, Julie Bernard and Lasse van Baal, in cooperation with the FH Aachen and Tobias Salz (INM-1), ended the project period of their software project for the ZEA-2 as part of their studies with a software fair in the JSC.

The aim of the project “Automated reading of KPIs” was to evaluate the scientific perception the ZEA-2 institute using key figures such as Twitter account statistics and number of citations of the institute's publications.

The data provided by Twitter Analytics contains key figures such as the number of tweets, tweet impressions, new followers, profile views, and mentions for the ZEA-2’s Twitter account. The analysis of citations is based on Google Scholar data.

What is the SWT?

The software project as part of the lecture 'Software Technology' (SWT) should enable all students to independently carry out a manageable SW project in all its phases. It is important that the students work in groups and not alone.

Each group is supervised by a 'real' client from a company or institute. The aim of the projects is the systematic application of software engineering procedures, ranging from requirements gathering to systematic testing of the software and documentation of the entire work process.
