New cryogenic test setup installed at ZEA-2 for research on electronics for quantum computers
Within its quantum computing project SQuBiC, ZEA-2 designs, develops and tests cryogenic electronics for control and readout of qubits. With the new cryogenic test setup, it is possible to characterize circuits down to 4.6K and operating frequencies up to 20GHz. The unique design allows for multiple experiment configurations ranging from PCB based verification of packaged chips to needle based probing of bare dies using cryogenic XYZ positioners.
