Dr. Viacheslav Bolnykh and Dr. Wenping Lyu defended their Ph.D. theses

September 18, 2019 - Congratulations to our former PhD students Viacheslav Bolnykh and Wenping Lyu who successfully defended their Ph.D. theses.

On September 18, Viacheslav (Slava) and Wenping got their Ph.D in biophysics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences of the RWTH Aachen University. Slava discussed the thesis entitled "Massively Parallel Quantum Mechanical/Molecular Mechanical Interface", while Wenping's thesis work deals with "Molecular Interactions in Pharmaceutically Relevant Biomolecules Explored by Multi-scale Simulations". Both of them got their Ph.D within the framework of the European Joint Doctorate HPC-LEAP.
