DCTS Webtool

The DCTS webtool is an online Dimensions and Clustering Tool for assessing schizophrenia Symptomatology based on the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS).

The DCTS webtool

Schizophrenia is a severe, chronic mental disorder, which ranks among the most debilitating psychiatric disorders and affects about 1% population worldwide. Symptoms of schizophrenia can be very disabling, but individual’s symptom expressions are difficult to explain due to the marked interindividual variability, hampering the development of effective treatments. Our dimensions and clustering tool provides an assessment of symptomatology to resolve its complexities for describing individual schizophrenia patients by grouping co-expressed symptoms into specific dimensions and categorizing patients into symptomatically distinct subgroups, towards a hybrid categorical-dimensional conceptualization (our publication).
