Workshop Quantum Computing @School

On Monday, December 12, a group of seven teachers attended JUNIQ’s workshop on “Quantum Computing @School”, in which the attendees learned basic concepts of quantum computers and how to use them in hands-on sessions. Madita Willsch, Dennis Willsch and Nils Küchler guided the attendees through the topics of gate-based quantum computing and quantum annealing and provided material and ideas on how to teach such a complex topic at schools. The workshop was held for the first time for teachers from NRW and on the premises of the JSC. We thank all attendees for their positive energy and engagement and are looking forward to our next workshop for teachers in early summer 2023, which will be announced on our website in the beginning of 2023.
