Maple Single User Version

Windows: 64-bit installation file (3.1 GByte)

Linux: 64-bit installation file (3.1 GByte)

Macintosh: installation file (3.0 GByte)

To install the Maple Single User Version, download and run the appropriate installation file for your operating system. Alternatively to this download, copy the installation data from the JSC PC software server pcsrv.zam.kfa-juelich.de and run it.

If Maple is to be installed on a system which has a continuous network connection within Forschungszentrum Jülich, the software must be licensed via the JSC license server. To do this, follow the installation instructions to the point Choose the Type of Licensing. There please select Network License - For installations using a network license server and select Next. The JSC uses a three-server system for licensing. For this reason, please select Redundant Server - Three license servers will be used in the following window Single or Redundant Server and confirm again with Next. In the Redundant License Servers window that now opens, set the options as follows:

License server 1 licsrv11.zam.kfa-juelich.de Port number 1704
License server 2 licsrv12.zam.kfa-juelich.de Port number 1704
License server 3 licsrv13.zam.kfa-juelich.de Port number 1704

When installing Maple on a system without a continuous network connection within Forschungszentrum Jülich (e.g. on a laptop), Maple can also be run without a license manager. To do this, follow the installation instructions to the point Choose the Type of Licensing and select Single User License - For stand-alone installations. When activating the program at the end of the installation, you need to provide Maplesoft Purchase Code, name, first name and e-mail address. The corresponding data can be obtained from Oliver Bücker (see Contact). In order to maintain anonymity towards Maplesoft, we ask you to use the supplied surname and first name as well as the supplied e-mail address.
