MaTSE training and Bachelor study course

At JSC, students can be trained to be mathematical-technical software developers (MaTSE) and simultaneously take the bachelor study course „Angewandte Mathematik und Informatik“ at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen. The training as well as the bachelor course are held in German.

Doctoral researchers

PhD theses can be carried out at in cooperation with a partner university. Dissertations can be written in the research areas mathematics, programming tools, parallel processing, scientific computing, quantum computing, operating systems, federated systems, data sciences, KI, and fast networks. The students' prior knowledge and interests are also taken into account when defining the topics.

Master students

JSC offers a master course Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Aachen. There is also a guest student programme every summer for 10 weeks. JSC regularly participates in the PRACE Summer of HPC as a host.
