Calls for Computing Time Applications

The Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS) on 13 January 2025 issued the 33rd call for large-scale projects on its supercomputers Hunter at HLRS, SuperMUC-NG at LRZ, and JUWELS at JSC as well as – for the first time – on the upcoming first European exascale Supercomputer JUPITER at JSC.

Synchronized with this call, proposals in three further calls can be submitted:

• Researchers at German universities and publicly funded research institutions can apply for regular GCS/NIC projects on JUPITER and on the JUWELS Cluster and Booster modules.

• Researchers from all HGF institutions in the Research Field Earth and Environment together with their national cooperation partners outside HGF are invited to apply for resources on the ESM partition of JUWELS.

• Finally, researchers from Forschungszentrum Jülich can submit applications for VSR computing time projects on JURECA-DC.
