JSC @ Supercomputing Conference SC'17
12-17 November 2017
Denver, Colorado, USA
SC17, the leading international exhibition and conference on high-performance computing, networking, storage, and analysis, will take place in Denver, Colorado, USA, from 12 to 17 November 2017. With Dr. Bernd Mohr from the Jülich Supercomputing Centre for the first time in the history of this conference a non-US citizen will be the general chair of the conference.
On its totally redesigned booth #401, JSC's Modular Supercomputing strategy will be a focus showcasing the new KNL-based Booster Module of JSC's HPC Cluster JURECA. Furthermore, the research activities of JSC in the field of pedestrian and fire dynamics, the invovement in current European supercomputing activities like the Human Brain Project, and the in-house developed HPC tools Llview, SIONlib, JUBE and Scalasca are demonstrated. The HPC section of the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA-HPC) will be guests at JSC’s booth.
JSC employees will also be on hand at the PRACE booth #2171.
As part of the conference programme, JSC employees will offer tutorials on "Practical Hybrid Parallel Application Performance Engineering" and "Application Porting and Optimization on GPU-Accelerated POWER Architectures", present talks, and participate in numerous special interest group sessions and attached workshops.
