ATML Parallel Performance
The HPC SoftWare Analysis and Tools Team contributes in the four areas:
- Support and service: Optimization of user application codes as ATML “Parallel Performance” in cooperation with the Simulation and Data Labs and the other Algorithms, Tools and Methods Labs.
- Education: Training of HPC users in the area of performance analysis and tools as part of PRACE PATC and VI-HPS training activities, summer and winter schools as well as supervision of bachelor, master and Ph.D. thesis in cooperation with RWTH Aachen University.
- Software Development: Design, implementation and maintenance of performance tools: Score-P, Cube and Scalasca
- Research: Participation in national and international research projects and the collaboration efforts NHR4CES, ETP4HPC, VI-HPS and JLESC.
Within the Program-oriented Funding (PoF IV) of Helmholtz Information, this group contributes to Program 1 “Engineering Digital Futures”, Topic 1 “Enabling Computational- & Data-Intensive Science and Engineering”.
