Guidance Effect of Evacuation Signages

Evacuation signages play a vital role in emergency evacuations, especially in complex buildings. However, the guidance effect changes with the signage's graph, color, position, luminance and even the surrounding people of the pedestrians. Studying the guidance effect is important for signage design and emergency evacuation route setting. According to the results of the experiments with eye-tracking devices, the different detection and resulting distributions are compared and the surrounding peoples' impact is considered to get a more reliable and realistic evacuation signage guidance model.
