1000BRAINS Study

The 1000BRAINS Study investigates structure and function of the aging brain by using magnetic resonance imaging and genomic imaging as well as neuropsychological and psychometric tests. The focus of the INM-8 is on the role of subjective well-being and personality traits as moderators of aging processes. This research is complemented by analyses of the normative aspects and ethical implications, which have to be considered in delimiting normal from pathological aging.
