At this year’s Open-Access-Tage conference, the Central Library was rewarded with an excellent result for JuSER in the Open Access Repository Ranking (OARR). A total of 160 open access repositories from Germany took part in the comparison. Achieving sixth place reflects the professionalism of the Central Library in developing and maintaining the repository.

JuSER, PUB (Bielefeld University), and miami (Münster University) were ranked as the best repositories in North Rhine-Westphalia.

JuSER received full points in the categories of open access (e.g. open access publication fund) and usability (simple and advanced searches). There is potential for improvement in linked open data and in the publication of usage
statistics.

JuSER is continuously further developed for the scientists at Forschungszentrum Jülich in order to improve the visibility of their research worldwide. Development partners are members of the JOIN² project and CERN.
