Reducing battery knowledge would be a step backwards for German industry
Helmholtz Institute Münster (HI MS) with the official designation “Ionics in Energy Storage” (IEK-12) was founded by the German research centre Forschungszentrum Jülich, the University of Münster (WWU), and RWTH Aachen University in 2014. It is a sub-institute of the Institute of Energy and Climate Research (IEK) at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
The international and interdisciplinary team of HI MS explores new battery technologies based on innovative electrolytes.
