Third-party funding

In 2021, Forschungszentrum Jülich generated around 395 million euros in third-party funding. The third-party funds consist of international (EU funding) and national project funding, R&D and infrastructure services (contracts) as well as project management agencies on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. National project funding includes funding from the federal government, the state, the DFG and other domestic agencies.
