For a lot of Doctoral Researchers and Postdocs, it is clear that they enjoy working in science and academia. But not for all of them the only attractive path is to pursue a career as a professor. Science management offers interesting opportunities for researchers to work closely with academia without doing research themselves, and at the same time to give new impulses to research policy.
