Find out about top research from the comfort of your own sofa: Forschungszentrum Jülich now offers this opportunity! Video conferences with employees can give you a unique insight into various research areas and career opportunities at Forschungszentrum Jülich.

At the Jülich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS), neutrons are used as microscopic probes to conduct research in the fields of soft condensed and biological matter, nanomagnetism and highly correlated electron systems. For this purpose, the JCNS develops, builds and operates neutron scattering instruments at leading national and international facilities as well as at future neutron sources. The JCNS provides access to these instruments for a broad user community.

This presentation is intended to give an introduction to the technique of neutron scattering with special emphasis on the activities carried out at the JCNS and its outstations and to give an overview of the capabilities of the user facility. The conference will  be in English and no registration is necessary.

Anyone with an internet connection and a computer or tablet (with a camera and microphone if you wish to actively participate) can join the online meeting at the given time. No registration is necessary.
