Workshop on Neutron Scattering Data Analysis Software

Third annual meeting of SINE2020 workpackage 10. A satellite meeting of the SINE2020 General Assembly.

6 - 8 June 2018, Soragna, Parma province, Italy


This meeting focuses on development. Discussions will centre on user requests, interface design, development practices, as well as tools and platforms. We will also present our ongoing projects in some detail.

This meeting is obligatory for developers and team leaders of the SINE2020-funded software projects. Other developers of neutron scattering analysis software are welcome to join us.

Registration and Programme

Registration is now closed!

Registration includes reservation of a single room in the conference hotel. There is no conference fee. Each participant will pay accommodation and breakfast directly to the hotel (136 € for 2 nights). Dinner on June 6 and 7, and lunch on June 7 and 8 will be taken in charge by SINE2020.

There will be no invited talks, and no poster session. All participants are invited to propose oral contributions by submitting an abstract using the link below.

Abstract submission: Please submit a title and a short informal abstract for a proposed oral contribution. Submissions are possible until 15 April 2018.


Accommodation and conference rooms are at Locanda del Lupo . The meeting will begin and end in the afternoon. For any special requests, please do not contact the hotel, but only the organizers.

To reach Soragna, take the train for Fidenza. Allow for 10-15 min to navigate from the train station to nearby Foro Boario bus stop. Line 2130 buses in direction of Roccabianca leave at 12:25 and 13:25. They stop in Soragna 20 minutes later.

For those attending the General Assembly: there are also direct buses from Parma to Soragna (line 2120 in direction of Busseto, leaving at 12:40 or 13:35, arriving in Soragna at 13:35 or 14:30).
